Hadley is a chartered accountant with over eleven years of experience in the financial services sector. Hadley is a qualified insolvency practitioner in the Cayman Islands and licensed by the British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission. He joined Baker Tilly (BVI) Limited in July 2008 and leads the Corporate Recovery & Insolvency Services team across the group, working on insolvent as well as solvent corporate recovery matters. Hadley is a member and former director of the Recovery and Insolvency Specialists Association (BVI) and member of INSOL International, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Association of Business Recovery Professionals (R3). Previously, Hadley worked for market-leading corporate recovery firms in the Cayman Islands and in the UK and holds a bachelors degree with honours in Business Management and French. Richard is an Australian Chartered Accountant with over eleven years of experience providing assurance and other services to both public and private corporations operating in a wide range of industries including hedge funds, captive insurance, manufacturing and software.
Richard started his career with KPMG Sydney’s audit practice. Richard then moved to the KPMG British Virgin Islands practice on a two year placement specializing in audits of offshore hedge funds and captive insurance companies. Richard has since spent a combined total of almost four years as a Senior Manager in the alternative investment practices of KPMG in the Cayman Islands and Toronto, before joining Baker Tilly (Cayman) Ltd as Audit Director in May 2011.
Richard has extensive experience in auditing and advising in a number of industries, specializing in hedge funds, private equity funds and other alternative investment structures under US GAAP, IFRS and Canadian GAAP.

John has been a qualified chartered accountant for over twenty eight years, specializing in offshore financial services in the UK and Caribbean originally with KPMG and more recently with Baker Tilly (BVI) Limited. John has been with the British Virgin Islands ("BVI") office since 1985. John became a Partner of KPMG British Virgin Islands in 1989. On 1 July 1992, John became Senior Partner and has headed up the BVI Corporate Recovery Practice, which now has a dedicated team of professional staff. As a leading insolvency practitioner in the BVI, John has been involved all of the largest corporate receiverships and liquidations within the BVI, including Air BVI, Village Cay Marina and Nanny Cay Marina. John has been appointed by the BVI High Court under the Insolvency Act, 2003 as Receiver, Liquidator and Provisional Liquidator of BVI companies involved in cross-border transactions and has been appointed by the BVI High Court to act jointly with insolvency practitioners from Baker Tilly in Hong Kong, Australia as well as the UK, on high profile matters involving shareholder disputes as well as powers of investigation. John became an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales in 1980 and an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Jamaica in 1983. John has been a member of the Advisory Committee of The BVI International Finance Centre and is a former Chairman of the BVI Association of Mutual Fund Practitioners. On coming into force of the Insolvency Act, 2003 and the Insolvency Practitioners Regulations, 2004 in August 2004, John became one of the first persons in the Territory to be granted a BVI insolvency practitioner's licence in September 2004. John is currently a member of INSOL International, the leading worldwide federation of national associations of accountants and lawyers who specialize in turnaround and insolvency and the Recovery and Insolvency Specialists Association (BVI). Training with KPMG London, Nigel qualified as a chartered accountant in 1996 and subsequently joined KPMG British Virgin Islands. When the firm rebranded to Baker Tilly (BVI) Limited in 2004, he was promoted to Senior Manager. In 2006, he was appointed Director of the Audit and Accounting Department. Nigel has accumulated an extensive knowledge of the offshore financial services industry, specialising in the mutual funds field. Other areas of expertise include the hospitality industry and the public sector. Nigel graduated with honours, receiving a master’s degree in history from the University of Edinburgh.
